Cheeky Choco Berry Smoothie

When I’m having a busy day I sometimes struggle to find ways to fit in all of my daily fruit and vegetable needs. This is why I’ve created this delicious, clean smoothie to pump my body full of antioxidants, vitamins and essential proteins!

Here’s the recipe:

1 medium banana
1 kiwi
Handful of strawberries
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp soy yoghurt
1 tsp maca powder
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
Optional tsp agave syrup to sweeten
(Sprinkle of chia seeds, raw cacao nibs and desiccated coconut to top)

Directions: blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy!

Maca is a great source of vitamins. It is rich in vitamins B, C and E proving calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and essential amino acids. It is also great for balancing hormones and proving you with increased energy levels.

Raw cacao is packed full of antioxidants and vitamin C, essential fatty acids and serotonin. Cacao in it’s purest form is free from additives and preservatives that are found in chocolate and is in fact the worlds highest whole food source of magnesium. So eat your chocolate! (In the raw cacao form of course).
