Superfood Granola

Have you ever just wanted to pile on spoonfuls of granola onto some yoghurt, milk or even onto a pancake, then felt guilty after finding out how much sugar and additives are packed into some granolas? Well here is a recipe designed to be enjoyed but without the guilt! It’s my superfood granola, yummy!

Here’s what you’ll need:

250g oats
50g hemp seeds
100g buckwheat groats
200g softened dates
100g chopped/blended nuts
6 chopped dried apricots
3 tbsp mixed seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1.5 tbsp coconut oil
80g agave nectar
20g maple syrup

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 150’C fan

Combine dry ingredients

Add coconut oil, agave nectar and maple syrup and stir

Add the dates after you’ve blended them until smooth

Mix well and add any additions, I added some goji berries to mine.

Roast in the oven for 20minutes and stir. Repeat roast and stir cycle every 5 minutes until you’ve reached you’re perfect granola! Delicious!
